Snowfort 2024 is a defensive cybersecurity competition where 40 teams across the globe are given five services with five vulnerabilities each.

An attack bot will actively exploit each service. The teams are tasked with fixing the vulnerabilities while preserving normal user functions.

How to register?

Registration is closed. Thank you to all the teams that registered.

Rules

  1. No performing attacks on infrastructure. The only exception is your team's allocated services when testing.
  2. No cross-team or outside-team collaboration during the competition.
  3. Due to limited resources, only 40 teams will be able to register.

Details

  • Each team is provided with a virtual machine containing the deployments of five services. Each service will have five vulnerabilities.
  • The vulnerable services will be custom made for this competition.
  • An attack bot will send a series of benign and malicious requests every game tick to test the behaviour of your team's services.
  • Each team will be provided with a set of OpenVPN configs to access the network and a private SSH key to access the virtual machine.
